jae sau chandhaa ougvaeh sooraj charraeh hajaar ||

if a hundred moons were to rise, and a thousand suns appeared,

eaethae chaanan hodhiaaan gur bin ghor andhhaar ||2||

even with such light, there would still be pitch darkness without the guru. ||2||

This piece is a bundle of four pieces of artwork, inspired by the above shabd. This shabd was written by Guru Angad Dev ji, the second Sikh guru, in raag asa. Each piece of artwork is an artistic depiction of a part of these two lines, and as a whole make an artistic interpretation of this beautiful shabad, a reminder that there is truly nothing, no light, without the guru.
